With a month to go before the start of the Allam British Open the city of Hull is gearing up for the arrival of the world’s top squash professionals.
This week saw the launch of a local promotional campaign to increase awareness of the event within the local Hull and East Ridings community.
City centre buses are now proudly displaying British Open artwork helping to ensure that the message is spread far and wide. As the event approaches, lamppost flags will start to appear and prominent poster sites around Hull will be taken over with images of our great sport.
It is hoped that this campaign will generate real interest and enthusiasm for both the British Open and the sport in general and help to ensure that the event delivers a positive and long lasting legacy for the region.
The Allam British Open runs from 9-17 May with the ASB all glass court taking centre stage at the Airco Arena from Monday 17 May.
